Login to CUIMC Housing Portal

You can access the portal using 1 of 2 methods:

  • Active UNI (preferred): If you have an active UNI with Columbia University, you will use the UNI log-in method. This is for current CUIMC students, faculty and staff.
  • Standalone Account: If you do not have an active UNI, you will need to register a Standalone account. For your first time, you will use your non-CUIMC email provided at the time of applying (for housing, short-stay, gym membership, etc) to register your username and password.

Newly Admitted CUIMC Students

If you are a newly admitted CUIMC student and don’t have an active UNI yet, you will need to create a standalone account to use until your UNI is activated.

To create an account, you must have accepted your offer of admission to your program. You will receive an email inviting you to apply for housing once your enrollment information has been provided to our office.

Your standalone login will continue to work until we direct you to use your UNI (based on your arrival). If you've created a standalone account and forgot the password, please select the "Standalone Login Method" and click the "Forgot Password" link.

Generally, you will begin using your UNI to log-in:

  • On or around August 1 for Fall arrivals
  • On or around January 1 for Spring arrivals
  • On or around June 1 for Summer arrivals

Short-Stay Housing Guests & Athletic Center Members:

If you have an active UNI with Columbia University, you may send a request to the Office of Housing Services or Athletic Center to pair your UNI with our portal for single sign-on access.

To access the portal without a UNI, you will first need to register a standalone account password and then use the "Standalone Login Method" for subsequent access.

To register a standalone account, select "Register Standalone Account" from the drop-down. You will need to enter the email address that you provided us at the time of applying for short stay housing or an athletic center membership. A link will be sent to your email with instructions to create a password.

If you've created a standalone account and forgot the password, please select the "Standalone Login Method" and click the "Forgot Password" link.

For non-CUIMC Students, you will continue to use the standalone login method to access this portal.
